So check this one out. A 24L waterproof daypack that you can stuff into your pocket…’nuff said! I havent’t tried it yet, but the Sea x Sky looks awesome and just launched on Kickstarter, so click here if you want to see their campaign. Once I get mine, I will make sure to update this post.

Lightweight & Compact

Coming in at 5.5 ounces, the Sea x Sky can be stuffed into a 4.9″ x 3″ pouch. When taken out, it opens up to become a 20″ x 11″ 24L backpack with a dry bag main compartment.

Durable & Functional

The Sea x Sky is made with durable Cordura material that is sand-proof, dust-proof, and dirt-proof. It is designed with numerous features making it ultra-functional for for outdoor adventures. The outside pocket zipper is reflective to assist in visibility at night; the adjustable sternum strap buckle has a built in emergency whistle; the side pockets are big enough to hold a water bottle; and there are adjustable stability straps to to help with comfort.

The Sea x Sky’s 24L main compartment is a fully waterproof dry sack. The roll down design ensures all your gear stays completely dry. The front easy access pocket is designed with a water resistant zipper, which is advertised to keep your contents safe in the rain.

Im really excited to test this bag out and hope it performs as advertised. If so, I know I’ll be using it a lot!

As of the time I am writing this post, there are 37 days left in the campaign. Click here to check out the Kickstarter campaign.

I see that this pack holds 24L, which is a great judge of the volume it holds…but how much weight can it stand??

The PNW has tested the bag and say it comfortably holds 20-30lbs without straining the reinforced straps.
